Started off totally maxed out on my 4.5m but the water was pretty flat with no real waves to contend with so being overpowered wasn't too much of a problem. Bearing away onto a wave for a front side wave ride was a little scary at times though.

Got settled into it and had a few nice little wave rides on the small surf, a couple of times on the same wave as Steve. The wind then eased a little and I sunk a few times but most of the time it was fine.. Although I much prefer being massively overpowered to slightly underpowered! The wind did come back but the waves dropped off. All in all a good days blasting on small kit.
